E-COMMERCE EXECUTIVE (SHOPIFY)
ONLINE FASHION BRAND
CITY CENTRE MANCHESTER

Our client a successful and rapidly expanding online fashion brand in Manchester are looking for an experienced E-commerce Executive with SHOPIFY and online fashion experience to come on board and play an integral part in their Ecommerce team. The successful candidate will have at least 2+ years experience working in a similar role for a successful online brand - ideally fashion and have good knowledge of SHOPIFY and uploading products to the website and WMS system.
THE ROLE
Reporting to the E-commerce Manager, the role will involve trading on site, presenting the product to create their ‘shop window’ to testing experiences so they can optimise the user journey. Our client will focus on understanding their customers so they can give them the right offers at the right time, show them the products they want the most and offer them an experience that is easy and enjoyable, to help drive business performance.
Job Summary:
Responsible for the monitoring of online visual merchandising for the UK site and international sites. Ensuring they are representing the VM strategy and maintaining the company’s visual standards and expectations across all sites. A gate keeper for the look and feel of the site, and to how styles are presented to the customer, both through their online categories and online features ensuring that all site product content is visually consistent and engaging. As eComme Executive you will be expected to help action day to day duties to ensure the department operates as expected, working with the eCommerce Manager to provide direction and communicate objectives and priorities.
Job description:
· The Role Uploading product into Shopify website and WMS system
· Selecting and publishing new products for the website.
· Utilising SEO knowledge to copy write exciting product descriptions and style recommendations.
· Visually Merchandising the website, ensuring products are displayed in a creative and commercial manner in order to make a subtle connection with consumers, increase interest and ultimately generate sales
· Compressing images to optimise the site speed
· Some data entry and creating barcodes for product
· Interpreting sales reports with the assistance of the retail & merchandising team
· Working with various teams to coordinate new product launches

Email Marketing CRM
Liaising with digital marketing agencies regarding PPC / paid media / social media
Requirements of the role:
· 2yrs + experience within a similar role for an online fashion brand
SHOPIFY/ SEO/ PPC/ liaising with marketing agencies/ social media
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to accurately describe products, using clear but creative language
· Proven visual E-Commerce merchandising/product experience in a fashion environment
· Proven organisational skills
· Good understanding of figures and analysis
· Strong visual communication & presentation skills
· Strong affinity with fashion and trends
· Genuine passion for customers, retail, fashion, brand and product
· A self-starter able to work independently and collaboratively
· Enthusiasm, energy and determination
Photoshop experience
Skills and Qualifications :
· Experienced using Excel and competent with excel formula
