Junior Embedded Software Engineer – Chesterfield
£28,000 - £35,000 + great benefits
An established and growing client of mine are looking to expand their Embedded Development team, by bringing in an experienced Embedded Software Engineer. You will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and evolution of innovate systems and software used within the manufacturing sector.
As a Junior Embedded Software Engineer, you will be joining an established team that develop reliable, well-documented, and supportable systems. You will have a support network of Engineers that you can learn from and shadow, helping you progress your career and technical skill set.
This role will be based on-site near Chesterfield to encourage collaboration and in-person interactions.
Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and support embedded softwareSystem TestingNew Product DevelopmentProduct maintenance and improvementProduce and maintain clear technical documentationRequirements:Relevant education in Software Engineering, Electronics etc.Experience programming with C, C++, or similar low-level languagesMicrocontrollersEmbedded systems and hardware knowledgeExcellent communication skillsStrong problem-solving skillsDesirable – Linux, control systems, Real Time Operating Systems, Testing, communication protocolsEffectively, this role is responsible for contributing to the design and support of world-class products alongside the relevant teams.
