Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a friendly, customer‑service focused Front of House Security Officer in Uttoxeter.
You will undertake a crucial role for the business by ensuring consistent service delivery on site in a professional manner, handling incidents in an organised way while adhering to escalation procedures.
You will actively enhance the delivery of security operations by ensuring all tasks are completed by all relevant departments and by understanding the culture fully at the site.
Hours: 60 hrs per week, Mon‑Fri 0600‑1800.

What you will need
* Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
* A valid SIA Front‑Line Licence – essential.
* A Full UK Manual Driving Licence – essential.
* Demonstrated Front of House experience – essential.
* Ability to work to deadlines, multitask and work under pressure.
* Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Software Packages (e.g. Excel).
* Able to achieve a DBS and vetting to BS7858 Standards.
What you are going to do
* Maintain high standards of performance, professionalism and customer service at all times.
* Ensure full compliance with operational instructions (e.g. alarm responses, building access, production) and external regulations.
* Report and escale issues following the Chain of Command.
* Produce clear, logical, and well‑written operational reports within required timeframes.
* Be fully conversant with site systems and procedures.
* Support Corps Security and site management teams in identifying and implementing service improvements.
* Build relationships with internal and external guests to enhance the security provision.
* Maintain safety and security through the operation of the integrated security systems.
* Coordinate with supervisors and both Corps Security and management regarding building maintenance and H&S issues.
* Coordinate with external authorities including the police.
* Ensure all policies and procedures are followed.
* Provide immediate response to any minor or major incidents, including medical incidents, fire alarm activations/evacuations and crisis response.
* Carry out any other admin duties deemed necessary or commensurate with the position.
