A specialist consultancy delivering flood risk, drainage, transport planning and infrastructure design services across residential and commercial development projects is looking to appoint a Civil Engineer to support its expanding infrastructure and drainage team. This opportunity would suit an engineer with experience across highways, drainage and development infrastructure looking to work within a technically focused consultancy environment with strong project ownership and client exposure.
The Role
You’ll support the delivery of drainage and infrastructure packages across a range of development projects, working closely with clients, planning teams and technical specialists throughout the design and approvals process.
Typical responsibilities include
* Drainage strategies and SuDS design
* Flood risk and surface water management support
* Highways and infrastructure coordination
* S278 / S106 development infrastructure works
* Supporting planning applications and technical approvals
* Liaising with local authorities, clients and multidisciplinary teams
* Preparation of technical drawings, calculations and reports
Requirements
* 4+ years’ UK consultancy experience within civil/drainage engineering
* Experience across drainage and development infrastructure schemes
* Knowledge of SuDS, flood mitigation and highways infrastructure
* Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and drainage software
* Strong stakeholder communication and coordination skills
* Keen to progress within a growing consultancy environment
