Role Purpose

This senior position will ensure high quality and consistent delivery of all services across a Pharmaceutical manufacturing laboratory and office campus. The role involves continuous improvement, day-to-day facilities coordination, and management of ad-hoc projects for the client’s facilities. As a first-generation outsourcing model for this group of sites, it is crucial to build relations with the client, be open and flexible, demonstrate resilience, and have experience as a service provider. We are seeking an assertive candidate who can communicate effectively and cross-functionally to understand business needs, problem-solve, and deliver facilities solutions that are high-quality and cost-effective.


Responsibilities

* Manage Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) including GMP operations on site for the pharmaceutical industry.
* Establish open and transparent relationships with client Plant Managers, Area and Site FM managers, and business partners (e.g., EHS and Quality leads) to build trust and credibility in the delivery of JLL services.
* Establish a Safety First culture on the site and improve safety performance by championing awareness and promoting safe behaviors among staff and partners.
* Maintain interface with key client stakeholders ensuring total contract compliance, accurate and timely reporting, and resolution of critical tenant relations issues.
* Manage quality compliance (regulatory, client, and JLL) for relevant in-scope systems and processes; liaises with EHS and Quality teams.
* Deliver against KPIs around downtime, costs, maintenance, and process compliance; drive continuous improvements in each KPI area.
* Proactively implement root cause corrective actions, propose reliability improvements, and conduct audits as needed.
* Ensure compliance with portfolio-wide initiatives and local laws/regulations affecting facilities managed on behalf of the client as owner.
* Supervise vendor performance for a large onsite team; ensure JLL staff and 3rd party vendors meet EHS, GxP, SLA, KPI, Satisfaction Surveys, and SOP requirements.
* Understand contract scope and drive delivery while identifying opportunities to improve customer experience and achieve operational savings.
* Prepare, submit, and manage facility budgets, track variances, and support smooth recovery processes.
* Provide day-to-day direction to on-site Site Ambassadors/Front of House Operatives and engineering teams across managed sites.
* Lead team management, staff development, and succession planning; recognize team and individual achievements.
* Oversee monthly/quarterly/annual reporting for the client; implement best practices from within and outside JLL.


Requirements


Essential

* A manufacturing mindset with experience in the manufacturing domain.
* 8 years of relevant experience in a GMP facility or similarly regulated industry.
* Knowledge of Quality Management processes in regulated environments.
* Experience as a service provider, setting up constructive client relations, delivering facilities contracts, and the related P&L.
* Strategic thinker with the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders.
* Project Management experience (team or lead).
* Strong communicator in English and local language, both verbally and in writing.
* Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability.


Desirable

* Experience with the specific client (as supplier or former employee) and/or JLL.
* Degree in Engineering or related field with knowledge of building services installations.
