We are looking for a detail‑oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to join our team, with a strong focus on payroll and expense management. In this role, you will ensure accurate and timely financial processes across multiple countries, support compliance, and deliver exceptional service to employees.
This is a hybrid role, working 2 days a week in our Cambridge headquarters.
What Will I Be Doing
Payroll Support
* Assisting with accurate and efficient processing of payrolls across multiple countries.
* Managing and responding to payroll‑related queries within agreed SLAs.
* Supporting preparation and validation of monthly payroll entries.
* Acting as point of contact for resolving payroll issues promptly and professionally.
Expenses
* Processing employee expense reports accurately and on time.
* Ensuring all expense claims comply with the company travel policy and HMRC regulations.
* Collaborating with the team to resolve expense queries quickly.
* Maintaining up‑to‑date and accurate staff and third‑party details in the finance system.
* Supporting general payment processing and assisting with urgent or special international transactions when required.
What Experience Do I Need
* Education: Recent graduate in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
* Interest: Strong desire to pursue a career in payroll.
* Good attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel). Knowledge of finance systems is a plus.
* Nice to have: Previous experience (internships or administrative roles) in payroll or expense management.
