As a Senior Facilities Coordinator, known at Guide Dogs as a Senior Workplace Services Coordinator, you’ll lead the delivery of safe, cost‑effective, and fit‑for‑purpose workplace and facilities management services for all building users at our Leamington site. The Senior Facilities Coordinator will be an expert at ensuring that the working environment meets all relevant building, environmental, and health and safety legislation. Our Senior Facilities Coordinator’s play a huge part in ensuring everything we do enables us to deliver on our purpose and exceed expectations.
This role will be based on site at our Leamington office, you’ll be working 35 hours per week, worked 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the Workplace Services team, setting clear objectives, delivering regular 1‑to‑1s, and supporting performance and professional development.
* Oversee day‑to‑day site operations, including reception services, meeting rooms, space utilisation, and ensuring a high‑quality workplace experience for all site users.
* Manage the delivery of compliant hard and soft facilities management services, ensuring statutory compliance, effective contractor management, and accurate record keeping.
* Ensure safe, secure, and efficient building operations, including HVAC and building management systems, site security, access control, CCTV, and visitor management processes.
* Act as site lead for health, safety, and risk management, including risk assessments and business continuity planning.
* Manage site budgets and financial controls, overseeing Workplace Services spend, purchase orders, forecasting, and supporting annual budget planning with the Regional Manager.

You’ll act with integrity and honesty in everything you do.
Skills and Competencies
* Educated to a minimum of GCSE or equivalent (GCF level 3/SQCF level 6-7 level 2 / SQCF level 5)
* Desirable - Member status of a professional Facilities Management body e.g. Institute of Workplace Facilities Management (IWFM)
* Experience managing a small site‑based facilities/workplace team.
* Experience in facilities management delivery through a mix of in‑house and outsourced service provision at a single site with multiple buildings.
* Experience managing on‑site health and safety compliance including the completion of inspections and compliance with risk assessments.
* An understanding of technical building management/control and physical security control systems.
* An understanding of facilities management/workplace best practice management principles.
* An understanding of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, associated Regulations and Approved Codes of Practice relevant to the workplace.
