Overview
Todmorden Town Hall is one of Calderdales premier cultural venues and sits within Public Services of Calderdale Council. The Halls host a varied arts and entertainment programme curated by professional events companies, local community organisations and the Town Hall team. Hosting concerts, dances, theatre performances and local community organisations activities across the various spaces within the building.
We are looking to recruit bar staff to work on a casual basis to cover evening, weekend and day time shifts on a rota basis, as dictated by the performances, meetings and other activities taking place within the Halls. The role involves providing exceptional customer experience and ensuring a high quality drinks service. It will also encompass assisting event staff with the safe set up and clearance of event infrastructure.

Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional customer experience and a high quality drinks service.
* Cover evening, weekend and daytime shifts on a rota basis as dictated by performances and activities.
* Assist event staff with the safe set up and clearance of event infrastructure.
Qualifications
* Previous experience of working in busy bar service.
* Excellent customer service, sales and communication skills.
* Numerate and able to remain calm under pressure; polite and friendly disposition.
* Commitment to high standards; ability to work unsociable hours, sometimes at short notice.
* Previous experience in varied hospitality environments is desirable.
* Role involves moving and handling; candidates must be able to move between different levels of the venue using stairs.
