Overview
We are seeking a professional and reliable Chauffeur to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services, ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of our passengers. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to maintain vehicles in top condition.
Responsibilities
* Safely drive passengers to their destinations while adhering to all traffic regulations.
* Maintain a clean and well-organised vehicle, ensuring it is in good working order.
* Communicate effectively with passengers regarding their travel needs and preferences.
* Assist passengers with heavy lifting of luggage or other items as required.
* Conduct routine checks on the vehicle to ensure safety and reliability.
* Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or requests from passengers promptly.
* Keep accurate records of trips, including mileage and fuel consumption.
Qualifications
* Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role is preferred.
* Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is an advantage.
* Ability to operate various types of vehicles, including vans and larger vehicles if necessary.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with passengers and team members.
* Capability to perform heavy lifting when assisting passengers with their belongings.
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to navigate efficiently through traffic conditions.
* The candidate will require a Newport private hire licence
