Assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of holistic therapy interventions for patients on the Trauma and Orthopaedic wards. To be an integral part of the treatment and rehabilitation of patients within Orthopaedics, working closely with physiotherapists.
You will need to work independently and delegate appropriately to band 4 assistant practitioners. You will contribute to service development and support staff through the appraisal process. Our team works closely together to manage and develop the service.
You will have access to supervision and appraisals to develop your clinical and management skills, with opportunities to develop leadership skills through various training programs.
We aim to embed the "we care" values into daily practice, ensuring each patient receives an individualized care program.

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the inpatient therapy team at QEQM! We seek a band 6 Occupational Therapist passionate about Trauma and Orthopaedics. This is a permanent, part-time role (18.75 hours/week).
You will work within a multidisciplinary team across the Trauma and Orthopaedic wards, alongside band 7 OTs and Physios, band 6 OTs and Physios, and bands 5, 4, and 3 staff.
We offer extensive CPD and learning opportunities, with regular supervision. We support your progression, including potential development from band 5 to 6, both clinically and in leadership skills.
