Quality Inspector 6 month contract Monday – Thursday 8am-4:30pm, Friday 1:30pm finish Sunbury on Thames Our client are a leading manufacturer providing specialist solutions to a variety of industries such as aerospace, power generation, rail and oil and gas industries. They are looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to join the team To mechanically inspect Piece Part, Sub Assembly or Final Assembly produced by the Company or its Sub-Contractors and Suppliers to AS9100 and EASA Part 21. Support the Company’s calibration system and maintain the supporting records. Main Duties/Responsibilities: Responsible for mechanical inspection of all Company Products, using a wide range of hand measuring tools and other inspection equipment including the CMM. Nominated DQR for product release of specific customer products Responsible for verification of supplier FAIRs. Responsible for compiling FAIRs to AS9102 for internal products. Responsible for co-ordinating mechanical & electrical calibration with internal customers. Responsible for developing GRIPs – Goods Inwards Inspection Plans and coordinating with the supplier. Produce accurate and detailed written NCRs on non-conforming product for either internal or external distribution.
