We are seeking ambitious sales professionals with MedTech/Device and clinical trial sales experience looking for a new challenge.
The role of Director, Business Development includes:
* Accountability for an individual annual target, selling to sponsor and biotech clients.
* Leading the sales process independently, including planning and implementation of sales activities.
* Assisting with identification of bid defense team participants and educating them on client culture, operational needs, and sales techniques.
* Identifying accounts with potential to become global key accounts.
* Leading the preparation of sponsor presentations and bid defense presentations.
* Understanding and identifying potential growth areas through market research and competitive landscape analysis.
This role is an individual contributor position focused on new account acquisition and business development, offering opportunities to sell our full range of capabilities in the MedTech/device sector.
We are hiring in the United Kingdom or Europe (Spain, Germany, and/or Netherlands).
Candidates with the following skills and experience are encouraged to apply:
* At least 5 years of CRO sales or client relationship experience with a proven record of selling complex, multi-service offerings.
* A proven hunter and new business winner.
* Ability to lead regional sales strategies independently.
* Ability to provide regular metrics to leadership.
* Experience in business lead generation.
* Deep knowledge of how a CRO operates, gained from working within a full-service CRO.
