Research Management Systems Project Delivery Lead

This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
As the Research Management Systems Project Delivery Lead (CRIS and Research Data Repositories), you will provide leadership and oversight of the Ensuring Data Compliance, Insights and Sharing (EDCIS) project to extend the functionality of the University’s current research information system (Symplectic Elements) and replace the research data repositories. You will be based in the University Libraries with close links to the Research and Innovation Service (RIS), working a minimum of two days a week at the University of Leeds campus.
You will lead the delivery of the EDCIS project, a key digital transformation initiative supporting the University’s strategic goals, including the Research Excellence Framework 2029 (REF2029) submission. Your responsibilities include stakeholder engagement, supplier management, project governance, and overseeing product delivery.

* REF2029 submission management module implementation in Symplectic
* Research Data Repository procurement and implementation
* Streamlining research activities data in Symplectic
* Equipment data management in Symplectic
* Scoping and implementing a research and innovation expertise database
