Senior Contracts Manager
Hawthorn Academic Consulting is looking for an experienced Senior Contracts Manager / Surveyor with insurance industry experience. You will survey, scope and manage a team of trades involved in the restoration and reinstatement of properties in London and surrounding areas (south of the River).
This is a hybrid role. A driving licence is essential and you must be willing to travel. Our client is looking for someone with strong experience within the Insurance Reinstatement industry and who has experience managing a team of trades.
Responsibilities
* Survey properties, diagnose defects and then scope/estimate repair works.
* Manage a team of restoration & reinstatement trades.
* Proactively manage all WIP, ensure projects are programmed/scheduled effectively and profit margins are achieved whilst ensuring quality of works.
* Oversee compliance under CDM regulations and manage Health & Safety.
* Manage KPI / SLA.
* Manage sub-contractor resources.
Requirements
* Experience in surveying & scoping insurance claim repair projects.
* Experience overseeing trades & sub-contractors within a property repairs environment (insurance repairs).
* Experience with portals/scoping tools such as Symbility & Xactware.
* Operational experience including management of resources, costs, profitability, third party relations and managing KPIs & SLAs.
* Driving licence.
