Key Responsibilities
* Deliver specialist assessment, diagnosis, and therapy interventions for children with a range of occupational therapy needs.
* Design and implement bespoke treatment plans aimed at supporting children’s independence, functional ability, and participation in daily life.
* Provide expert advice and training to families, carers, school staff, and other professionals to ensure holistic support.
* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary colleagues to deliver seamless and coordinated care.
* Contribute to service development initiatives, audits, and quality improvement projects.
* Supervise and mentor junior staff, fostering growth and maintaining high standards across the team.
* Deputise for the team leader as required, ensuring continuity of leadership and service delivery.
Requirements
* HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
* Substantial post-qualification experience within paediatrics.
* Confident working both independently and within multidisciplinary settings.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* A full UK driving licence is essential, as travel between sites will be required.
