About the Role
Within the Standardisation team, you will be responsible for reviewing, validating, and ensuring the accuracy of technical documentation supporting NOV Rig Technologies Aftermarket Division. This role involves verifying that quality plans are properly populated and that all referenced documents, such as inspection procedures and parts lists, are complete, correctly filed, and compliant with standards. You will collaborate with service engineers, technical teams, and peers to ensure that documentation accurately records the validations and verifications required for equipment certification. Your strong attention to detail and communication skills in English will be critical in ensuring documents are correctly structured, properly named, filed, and ready to support certification processes. The validated documentation will play a crucial role in supporting operational success across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
5. Review and validate quality plans completed by service engineers to ensure all required fields are accurately populated.
6. Verify completeness of referenced documentation (., inspection procedures, parts lists, reports) in accordance with quality plans.
7. Ensure consistency with company standards and global procedures, maintaining accuracy and proper file naming conventions in the Document Management System (DMS).
8. Liaise with service and engineering teams to identify any missing or incomplete information, requesting corrections or additional documentation as needed.
9. Prepare and finalize documentation for certification, ensuring that it is ready for final approval and countersignature by relevant stakeholders.
10. Support the standardization of documentation processes across global operations to ensure a uniform approach to documentation management and certification procedures.
11. Identify and propose improvements in the documentation review process to streamline operations and increase efficiency.
12. Maintain accurate records and provide regular updates to your supervisor on the status of document verification tasks, highlighting any risks, delays, or opportunities for process improvements.
13. Ensure compliance with all internal and external policies, including legislative, industry, and company standards, particularly with respect to documentation and certification procedures.
14. Perform other tasks reasonably required by the department to support standardization initiatives and document management operations.
Qualifications & Skills
Essential
15. Proficiency in managing documents and validations using document management systems
16. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and ensure document accuracy
17. Strong written and verbal communication skills to liaise effectively with cross-functional global teams
18. Team player supportive of standardising processes in multinational operations
19. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and managing technical documentation
Desirable
20. HNC or HND in a relevant technical field (Engineering, Quality Assurance/Control, Auditing, English, or equivalent experience
21. Experience in a technical or engineering environment, ideally with exposure to document control
22. Experience working with authoring or checking written English
23. Experience in the Oil & Gas or heavy industry sectors where technical documentation is critical
24. Familiarity with technical documentation such as equipment inspection procedures
25. Knowledge of quality management systems (., API Q1 and/or ISO 9001) and auditing practices
26. Experience working on projects and within collaborative teams
