Role Overview
Are you a Registered Nurse or an AHP with an interest in digital care technology and would like to utilise your clinical skills to support a teaching/training role in care homes as an autonomous practitioner? If the answer is yes, then we have the ideal post for you.
The Care Home Support Team in Richmond offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as a clinical and digital practice educator. You will provide training to support the embedding of remote monitoring and other digital care technologies in care homes, using your knowledge of good clinical practice to train staff on recognising early signs of deterioration with the NEWS2/RESTORE2 framework and on how new technology can support this.
We currently have multiple digital integration projects in implementation with care homes, aiming to reduce avoidable LAS call outs and hospital admissions in partnership with the SWL ICB and PCN’s. In this role you will identify barriers, understand the challenges presented by care homes and identify solutions to enable good digital integration.

* Maintain an excellent understanding of the Restore 2 process to support teaching.
* Increase digital inclusion and mitigate against digital exclusion and inequality by addressing barriers in care homes such as access to digital equipment, skills and confidence in using digital equipment, and motivation to change current processes and day‑to‑day clinical activities.

* Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional (AHP) with clinical experience.
* Strong understanding of clinical practice and digital care technologies.
* Experience in training or teaching within a care setting.
