Overview
We are looking for a skilled and professional Class 1 Driver to join our team. This role involves delivering high-value items securely to our customers across the banking, government, and infrastructure sectors, providing a first-class service at all times.
This position demands flexibility, as operational requirements you may be required to operate a wide range of vehicle classes, from smaller delivery vans to larger commercial trucks. Beyond driving responsibilities, you will also be expected to actively participate in the physical aspects of the role, including assisting with the safe and correct loading and unloading of goods.

Duties
* 45 hours per week (with overtime available)
* Typical working hours: 6am–3pm (subject to change with workload/projects)
* Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
* Valid CPC, Digital Tacho Card, Class 1 licence (essential)
* Clean driving record and minimum 2 years’ HGV driving experience
* Must be flexible and able to operate other vehicle classes as required
* Knowledge and safe handling of pallets, trolleys, and load securing
* Comfortable using IT systems, including handheld PDAs for delivery updates, proof of delivery, and manifests
* Ability to safely load/unload pallets using correct equipment and practices
* Maintain the security of high value loads throughout transportation
* Carry out daily vehicle checks, ensure safe driving practices, and comply with all tachographs and working time regulations
* Complete paperwork accurately and in line with company processes
* Be adaptable, reliable, and presentable with a strong customer-service focus
* Must pass CRB checks and SC Clearance (all staff)
