Job Overview
2 year fixed-term full‑time appointment for a Locum Radiologist within the Imaging department of the University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust. The post is based primarily at the UHDB with duties split between the Royal Derby Hospital (RDH) and Queen’s Hospital Birmingham (QHB).
Key Responsibilities
* Provide general body imaging reporting with a subspecialty focus on Head & Neck imaging.
* Collaborate with a team of specialist radiologists to deliver diagnostic imaging expertise.
* Cover general reporting and subspecialty assignments across the Trust.
* Participate in the diagnostic on‑call rota at Royal Derby Hospital, supported by a cross‑site team of radiographers.
* Work with 10 Patient Assistants (8.5 DCC + 1.5 SPA) and can arrange part‑time working if required.
