Stamford College is looking for a passionate and dedicated Lecturer in Skills for Work and Living (SEND) to join our Inclusive Learning team.This is a rewarding opportunity to support young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) as they develop the skills, confidence and independence needed for adulthood, employment and everyday life. If you are committed to inclusive education and believe every learner deserves the opportunity to achieve their potential, we'd love to hear from you.About the Role As a Lecturer and Course Coordinator, you will deliver engaging and personalised learning programmes that support learners with a range of needs, including communication and interaction difficulties, cognition and learning needs, sensory impairments and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.You will create a positive and supportive learning environment where learners can build confidence, develop independence and achieve meaningful outcomes. Working closely with colleagues, parents, carers and support staff, you will help learners progress towards their individual goals and prepare for their next steps in education, employment or independent living.What You'll Be Doing Deliver inspiring and inclusive teaching that meets individual learner needsSupport learners to develop personal, social, employability and independent living skillsMonitor progress, set targets and provide constructive feedbackCoordinate programmes and contribute to curriculum developmentWork collaboratively with support staff, families and external agenciesCreate a safe, supportive and engaging learning environmentHelp learners develop confidence, resilience and aspirations for the futureAbout You We're looking for someone who has:Experience working with young people or adults with SENDPrevious teaching experience and a passion for inclusive learningAn understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by learners with additional needsExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsCreativity, patience and a learner-centred approachA relevant qualification in your specialist areaExperience delivering entry-level programmes and supporting learners with communication, cognition, sensory and/or SEMH needs would be advantageous.Why work for IEG?Generous Leave: 37 days of annual leave, plus Bank Holidays and Christmas close down.
