Communication is everything in this role.
We’re looking for a Makaton-trained SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with autism and complex learning needs.
Responsibilities:
* Use Makaton to support understanding and expression
* Build trust and consistent routines
* Support behaviour and emotional regulation
Ideal candidate:
* Makaton trained or experienced
* SEN background preferred
* Calm, resilient, and supportive

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
