Job Title: PPA Teacher (Primary - KS1 & KS2) - Full-Time Location: Leyland, Lancashire Contract Type: Full-Time, Term-Time Only Salary: £130 - £195 per day (dependent on experience) Start Date: September 2025 Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and flexible PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) Teacher to join our primary school team in Leyland. This is a full-time role covering both Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2) classes. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons across a variety of subjects, ensuring continuity in learning during teachers' PPA time. Key Responsibilities: Deliver pre-planned lessons across KS1 and KS2 during teacher PPA time. Provide engaging and effective teaching that promotes learning and development across different subjects. Manage the classroom environment to ensure a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all pupils. Maintain and uphold school policies on behavior and safeguarding. Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback where necessary. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching in a primary setting across KS1 and KS2. Strong classroom management skills and flexibility to teach across different year groups. A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one). Benefits: Competitive daily rate: £130 - £195 per day. Full-time role with a September start.
