Due to the nature of the job, candidates must be physically fit and able to perform heavy lifting as required by the workload. This is a physically demanding role that requires individuals who are fit, active, and comfortable with continuous manual work throughout the shift.
What’s on offer:
• £13.50 per hour
• 30–40 hours per week, with overtime paid at 1.5x
• Training provided, including supervisory guidance

Potential shift times:
10:00am – 6:30pm
12:00pm – 6:00pm
1:30pm – 10:00pm
4:30pm – 10:00pm
General duties and experience required:
Overseeing the collection of abandoned trolleys and ensuring they are quickly returned to customer pick-up points
Taking full responsibility for the site in the absence of the Site Supervisor (rota days off, annual leave, sickness)
Assisting in the timely and effective completion of all reasonable requests made by the Regional Manager
Managing operational performance for the staff under your supervision
Supervising the team and ensuring full compliance with HR policies, Health & Safety procedures, and Safe Systems of Work
Motivating, developing, and training a flexible team to maintain a high standard of service
Ensuring all customer requirements are fulfilled while maximising labour efficiency
Accurately recording and submitting weekly timesheets to head office
Liaising with store managers and staff to maintain excellent working relationships
Completing weekly rotas, staff coaching, and ensuring employees can meet job requirements
Handling customer enquiries and escalating complaints to your line manager when necessary
Conducting general maintenance, inspection, cleaning, and minor repairs on the trolley fleet
Acting as a communication link between the workforce and the Regional Manager
Ensuring full compliance with company policies and group management systems
Performing additional reasonable duties as requested by your line manager

Key requirements:
• Must live local to MK1 and be able to reliably travel to and from site
• Experience supervising or leading a small team
• Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused
• Able to liaise confidently with agencies, HR, payroll, and onsite teams
• Basic IT understanding (email, reporting, timesheets, basic systems)
