Special educational needs learning support assistant Nottinghamshire - Long term
We are working with a fantastic Alternative provision in the Nottinghamshire area to find a qualified experienced, enthusiastic and naturally caring experienced SEND teaching assistant to join on a long term, full time basis which could lead to a permanent role for the right candidate.
Qualifications / Requirements
* A level 2 or 3 Teaching assistant qualification
* A full UK driving license and access to a car
* To have sensitivity and understanding
* To be patient and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
* To have active listening skills
* To be able to look after children's physical, social and emotional welfare
* To be flexible and open to change
* To have excellent verbal communication skills
* To be able to adapt teaching support according to student's needs
Other Essential Requirements
* Enhanced DBS Disclosure on the update service is an advantage but we can apply for one for you if needed
* Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable)
* Professional reference checks
* CV must cover the last 5 years of employment history where possible
* Legal right to work in the UK
