Secondment opportunity requires existing permanent employees to discuss the opportunity with their line manager and complete the secondment request form before interview.
Position Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a pharmacy assistant to join our healthcare team in Forth Valley Prisons. We are recruiting a dynamic, compassionate and enthusiastic pharmacy assistant who is eager to be part of a multidisciplinary, integrated team.
The post holder will be a vital part of a holistic service, contributing significantly to the health‑care needs, outcomes and experience of a complex and vulnerable population while working in partnership with the Scottish Prison Service.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the pharmaceutical service as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Work autonomously and with ambition, supporting the development of a modern and innovative health‑care service.
* Be willing to travel throughout the service delivery area as required.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Previous experience in a pharmaceutical setting.
* Ability to work autonomously.
* Commitment to the service and to continuous improvement.
* All posts may be subject to rotation.
* Member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
