Fundraising and Events Manager

Full Time – 37.5 hours per week. Working Monday to Friday with flexibility for occasional evenings and weekends.
Position Summary
Lead the planning and delivery of a dynamic fundraising and events programme that maximises income, builds strong engagement with supporters, stakeholders, and corporate partners, and aligns with Norfolk and Waveney Mind’s mission and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategically design and execute fundraising campaigns and events to achieve agreed income targets.
* Develop and nurture relationships with supporters, corporate partners, and community stakeholders.
* Lead and develop a high‑performing team, fostering creativity, innovation, and a results‑driven culture.
* Ensure all activities comply with fundraising regulations and organisational policies.
* Maintain accurate financial reporting and regularly update the Senior Leadership Team and Board of Trustees on progress.
* Identify and pursue new opportunities to diversify income streams.
Required Experience and Skills
* Extensive experience in fundraising and event management, preferably within the charity sector.
* Strong leadership and team development skills.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
* Financial acumen and experience with budget planning and reporting.
* Proven track record of delivering ambitious targets.
* Valid UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle with business insurance; ability to drive a hire van for events.
Salary and Hours
£34,067 per annum. Mileage is paid at 45p per mile for cars after the home‑to‑work base mileage is deducted.
Location
Sale Road, Norwich. Requirement to travel across Norfolk: North, East, South, and West.
