Role Description
The role involves building and maintaining client relationships, assessing customer insurance needs, and advising on suitable policies.
The broker will negotiate with insurers to secure competitive pricing, manage policy renewals, and handle claims on behalf of clients.
Delivering exceptional customer service and staying informed about industry trends and regulations will also be key components of this role.
Qualifications
* At least 3 years experience in broking property owners.
* To have experience on tradesman, commercial combined policies is beneficial.
* Knowledge of insurance products and markets, including a strong understanding of commercial insurance policies.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
* Analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess risks and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
* Proficiency in administrative tasks, policy documentation, and record-keeping.
* Ability to stay current with industry regulations and compliance requirements.
* Experience working in a brokerage or insurance role is preferred.
* Certification in insurance or a related field, such as a CII qualification, is beneficial.
* Proficiency in using Acturis.
Remuneration: Fix Salary plus Commission
