Your Mission
Your mission as Supply Chain manager is to coordinate the Supply Chain scope within a matrix organization.
You report directly to the Plant Manager, and functionally to the Head of Supply Chain. You are the direct manager of the Supply Chain team in the plant.
Your Responsibilities
Main tasks :
* You define the strategy and department organization to meet the company’s and plant’s objectives.
* You ensure the organization’s alignment in budget and performance (KPIs).
* You manage and coordinate the efforts for the inbound, outbound and production planning processes.
* You define methods and support best practice sharing and lessons learned.
* You are the process owner for the scope of Supply Chain.
* You continuously look for opportunities of improvement, and take leadership on the lean culture.
* You build and maintain business relationships with customers and suppliers.
* You communicate regularly to the stakeholders regarding performance and KPIs.
* You organize the shopfloor activities, using a continuous improvement methodology.
Key results areas :
* Coordination of in- and outbound flows of the plant.
* Creation of the production schedule in collaboration with Manufacturing, and creation of the production plan.
* Maintaining inventory accuracy and respect of ERP-related transactions.
* Sequencing of tire-wheel assemblies and maintaining the backup modes.
* Manage the local Supply Chain Team, and the relationship with the Customers.
* Own the P&L of Supply Chain and proactively look for cost savings opportunities.
Responsibilities:
* In your scope of responsibility, you ensure that the activities are done according to customer, internal and external requirements.
* You ensure the basics of Supply Chain and Group Procedures are covered and respected in the plant.
* You proactively address customer evolutions and requirements.
* You lead, empower and support your direct reports.
* You are responsible for safety in your scope of activity.
* You act as the organization authority for staff planning of Logistics (including holiday planning, qualification, etc.).
🔧 What you bring to the table
* Master Degree in Logistics, Engineering, or similar through education or experience.
* Experience of 3 years in a management role, 5 years in Logistics environment.
* Knowledge of Excel is a must.
* Experience in automotive is a plus.
* Proven project management skills and solid track record in leading projects
* Senior-level expertise with experience managing large-scale supply chain operations
* Flexibility and ability to effectively handle multiple topics in parallel
