Panel Installation / Electrical Service Engineer

Jackson Hogg is supporting a Teesside-based automation specialist in the appointment of an experienced Panel Installation / Electrical Service Engineer.
This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced electrician or panel installation engineer who enjoys working on technically varied systems, both in the workshop and on-site.
The Role
The position involves the installation and integration of electrical control panels and larger engineered systems, including containerised power solutions. Systems typically incorporate:

PLCs
*
HMIs / SCADA systems
*
VFDs (VACON, ABB, Siemens etc.)
*
UPS systems
*
Battery Energy Storage Systems
The role is primarily site-based, with workshop preparation work as required. There will be travel involved, including UK and occasional worldwide assignments, predominantly vessel-based installations.
Key Responsibilities
*
Installation and integration of control panels and larger electrical systems
*
Working from and applying electrical drawings and schematics to build systems to specification
*
Supporting on-site installation and commissioning activities
*
Ensuring compliance with health & safety and quality standards
Candidate Requirements
*
Experience as a Panel Installer, Electrician, or Electrical Service Engineer
*
Strong ability to read, understand, and apply electrical drawings
*
Experience working with industrial control panels and electrical systems
*
Willingness to travel when required
*
Marine background desirable but not essential
*
Must be based in the North East (preferably Teesside)

Salary up to £34,000 (depending on experience)

Working hours: 08:00 – 16:30

Overtime allowances available
