About the role
You will report into the Healthcare Logistics Manager and your role will be to provide outstanding customer care by delivering and collecting medicines from Care Homes, patients at home, GP surgeries, and other Boots stores within an allocated route time. You will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate deliveries whilst following safety protocols. You'll be provided with a vehicle that is maintained by Boots, along with all necessary training and equipment, including a handheld device for pre-planned routing and satellite navigation.
Additional responsibilities include:
1. Building great relationships with store teams, care homes, and GP surgeries.
2. Following standards, operating policies, and health and safety procedures.
3. Driving safely and legally.
4. Maintaining and keeping your vehicle clean, reporting any damage or issues.
5. Providing feedback on customer comments and concerns, and suggesting operational improvements.
6. Representing Boots Healthcare Logistics proudly as an ambassador.
