Autism Specialist TA – South Shields Location: South Shields Contract: Full-time, Long-term Start date: ASAP Pay: £85–£95 per day Do you have a calm, caring nature and a real passion for helping children with autism thrive? We’re looking for an Autism Specialist Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming SEND school in South Shields. The role involves supporting pupils across KS2–KS4 who have autism and associated communication needs. You’ll be joining a school that focuses on positive behaviour support, structured routines, and personalised learning. You’ll be guided by experienced teachers and supported by a team that truly understands the importance of patience, consistency, and fun.
