Job Description:
A leading, global law firm is continuing its rapid growth and is now looking for an eDisclosure Project Manager in Sheffield.
Purpose of the role
This role involves delivering eDisclosure solutions to lawyers and clients, managing an external panel of vendors, and promoting the use of eDisclosure services across the firm. It also includes defining the firm's strategy for eDisclosure technology and conducting training sessions.
Responsibilities:
* Promote understanding and use of eDisclosure technology within the firm.
* Provide technical and consultancy services to legal teams and clients, following the eDiscovery process outlined in the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM).
* Manage projects involving data identification, collection, processing, review, or disclosure.
* Lead discussions with clients and negotiate with third-party providers.
* Stay updated on market developments, legal changes, and technological advancements.
* Create and deliver training and awareness sessions.
* Ensure high-quality delivery of eDisclosure services, adhering to industry best practices, internal processes, and budget constraints.
* Manage projects from inception to trial, including litigation, arbitration, data access requests, and investigations.
* Collaborate with the wider innovation team to identify solutions.
* Mentor and coach lawyers.
* Manage third-party providers at project and firm-wide levels.
Experience and technical skills:
* Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
* Collaborative approach with strong relationship-building skills.
* Professional and tactful under pressure.
* Excellent project and change management skills.
* Experience in delivering eDisclosure/eDiscovery projects in professional or financial services environments, either from a law firm or vendor perspective.
* Strong technical understanding of eDisclosure and litigation support tools.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to simplify technical information for clients and lawyers.
* Degree or equivalent experience in technology or law preferred.
* Hands-on experience with TAR, email threading, and near-duplication functions.
This role is hybrid, based in Sheffield, with 2 days WFH and 3 days in the office.
