GrandFlex Nursery Practitioner – Join our team at Grandir UK.
We offer a £500 welcome bonus for new team members, flexible working options ranging from 16 to 40 hours per week, and a higher rate of pay up to £16 per hour.
Responsibilities
* Provide a positive practice role model to ensure that Grandir UK values are maintained.
* Ensure equality of access and opportunity for all staff, parents and children.
* Supervise and support children at all times.
* Contribute to maintaining an attractive and welcoming environment.
* Prepare and supervise activities under the guidance of Level 3 qualified Practitioners.
* Read, understand and implement all company policies, procedures and operational practices.
* Ensure that any changes to policies, procedures and operational practices are adhered to within the required timescale.
* Ensure that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
* Notify the line manager of any concerns or issues regarding company policies, procedures and operational practices.
* Maintain a positive attitude at all times with children, parents, visitors and colleagues.
* Ensure confidentiality where appropriate is maintained.
* Attend regular staff meetings, planning meetings and undertake training as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Level 3 or equivalent qualification in early years education.
* Current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
* Strong safeguarding awareness and commitment to child protection.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to adapt to flexible working arrangements.
