About the role
We’re looking for a confident and motivated healthcare professional with strong leadership skills and a solid background in Blood Transfusion to join us as Senior Biomedical Scientist – Blood Transfusion Lead at our Brentwood Hospital.
Responsibilities

* Multi-disciplinary experience desirable
* Participate in on-call rota
* Support and oversee training, development, and mentoring of the team
* Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, quality standards, and audit frameworks
* Attend key management meetings including the local, regional and national Hospital Transfusion Forum meetings
* Hold a current HCPC registration (Health and Care Professions Council) - essential for this role
