Job Title: SEN Tutor Location: South East England, Surrey, Horley Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time hours Salary: £20 - £25 Per hour Job Description: As an SEN Tutor based in Horley, Surrey, you will be responsible for providing specialised support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Your primary focus will be on delivering tailored educational programmes to help students achieve their learning goals and maximise their potential. Job Duties: Develop individualised learning plans for students with SEN Deliver engaging and interactive tutoring sessions Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' development Provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment Required Qualifications: Experience working with students with SEN Strong communication and interpersonal skills Understanding of different learning styles and needs Education: A relevant degree in Education or a related field Additional certifications in SEN support are desirable Experience: Prior experience in tutoring or teaching students with SEN Demonstrated success in improving student outcomes Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of SEN legislation and best practises Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude Working Conditions: You will be working part-time hours on a temporary basis, providing support to students with SEN in a home setting.
