Location: Office based in Camelford, Cornwall
Salary: GBP 31,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications, with review after a three-month probationary period.
Hours: 40 hours per week (full-time)
The Training and Compliance Manager works under the supervision of the Registered Manager and is responsible to the Directors for ensuring staff training meets regulatory standards and all requirements are adhered to.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee trainers and ensure training quality standards are met.
* Maintain a training matrix to record staff training promptly.
* Ensure managers are up to date with their PDT.
* Review weekly reports from the RM to the Directors.
* Liaise with the Systems Manager to schedule training.
* Oversee procurement of maintenance and equipment such as PPI.
* Conduct quarterly property maintenance surveys and supervise repairs.
* Ensure satisfactory Serious Incident Reporting.
* Maintain standards to achieve a CQC rating of Good or above.
* Maintain standards for a good QA report from the LA.
* Ensure compliance with HSE requirements.
* Supervise GDPR Controller and Administrator.
* Review legislative changes affecting the company.
* Assess compliance with RM and Trainers.
* Supervise Trainers and liaise with HR department and advisors.
Skills and Qualifications
* Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care and management qualification.
* Familiarity with legislation relating to domiciliary care and management experience.
