Social Worker - Children with Disabilities

Responsibilities
* Conduct assessments to identify the needs of children with disabilities and their families.
* Develop and implement individualized service plans in collaboration with families and various service providers.
* Provide counseling and support to children and families to help them navigate the challenges associated with disabilities.
* Advocate for children’s rights and access to necessary resources and services in educational and healthcare settings.
* Facilitate communication between families and professionals to ensure coordinated care and support.
* Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and adjust service plans as needed.
* Provide training and resources to families to help them better care for their children’s specific needs.
* Participate in community outreach programs to raise awareness and support for families with children with disabilities.
Requirements
* Master\'s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
* Valid state licensure as a Social Worker (LCSW or equivalent).
* Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children with disabilities and their families.
* Strong understanding of disability rights, policies, and support resources.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with children and families.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple cases effectively.
