Lead Maintenance Engineer – Stonehouse
This role offers a lead position within a supportive team at a renowned food manufacturer with a global presence.
Salary: Circa £50,000 plus overtime (1.5x, Sunday 2x), bonus, 25 days holiday, bank holidays, and pension (employer up to 7%). Shift: Double days – Monday to Friday 06:00 to 14:00, 14:00 to 22:00.
Role Responsibilities
* Act as technical authority on the shift, leading planned maintenance and fault diagnostics.
* Drive continuous improvement, mentor the team, coordinate maintenance activities.
* Plan preventive maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance.
* Work with conveyors, pumps, pneumatics, PLCs, etc.
* Support installation of new equipment.
* Manage shift handovers.
Candidate Profile
* Experienced multi‑skilled engineer.
* Experience in an FMCG environment (or similar).
* Apprentice trained (or equivalent).
