Job Description
As a Lead IMS Analyst supporting a major nuclear project, you will provide technical expertise to the Integrated Management System (IMS) team; managing the creation, updating, and retirement of project procedures in a highly regulated environment. The role requires strong communication, organisation, and prioritisation skills, along with beneficial experience in BPMN or Enterprise Architecture tools.
You will work closely with the digital team to publish approved procedures, collaborate with stakeholders across the project, and support process development through workshops and process‑modelling methods such as Lean or Six Sigma. The role also involves coaching others on procedure best practice.
The Lead IMS Analyst leads and develops a team of IMS Analysts, ensuring effective workload prioritisation and high‑quality support to the wider business.
Roles & Responsibilities:
* Work with managers and project stakeholders to plan and deliver process improvement activities across all functions (H&S, Security, Environment, Quality, etc.).
* Support the IMS Governance Manager by providing high‑quality Process Architecture services that meet regulatory and international standards.
* Review and assess ongoing process improvements, offering clear recommendations for enhancement and ensuring process improvement initiatives align with wider organisational goals.
* Coach subject matter experts and project leads to ensure procedures meet safety, quality, and compliance expectations.
* Develop clear procedure development plans, outlining goals, milestones, governance steps and resource needs.
* Produce high‑quality documents and process models for BAU and project work.
* Prepare and present procedure updates.
* Champion the implementation of the IMS to support key project milestones.
* Coordinate business process flows across Delivery, Enabling and Support functions.
* Support the smooth publication of IMS procedures, ensuring accuracy in attributes, flowcharts and permissions.
* Manage and prioritise the procedure work pipeline based on project needs and risk.
* Maintain clear progress tracking and escalate delays when required.
* Lead and support a team of IMS Analysts, ensuring effective prioritisation and delivery.
Qualifications
Essential:
* Previous experience in a similar role within a highly regulated sector.
* Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field is preferred.
* Extensive experience developing, implementing and maintaining process best practice and company procedures.
* Strong knowledge of process modelling standards and design techniques.
* Proficient in using Visio for process mapping.
* Proven ability to manage competing priorities, work in a fast‑paced environment, and maintain high accuracy and attention to detail.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build credible relationships at all levels internally and externally.
* Confident presenter and communicator across multiple organisational levels.
Desirable:
* LEAN Six Sigma green belt trained, with experience of using this toolset for process improvement.
* Experience in the application of nuclear management system standards.
* Experience using PowerBI or equivalent visualisation tool.
* Experience with Orbus iServer or similar tools (MEGA HOPEX, LeanIX, Software AG, Adonis) or the ability to learn complex systems.
* Strong understanding of Business Process Modelling standards (in particular, BPMN notation).
* Experience in an object-oriented environment with objects, attributes, and relationships.
* Fluent in French, desirable.
