Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Gardener to join our team. Duties
* Cultivate and maintain gardens, ensuring the health and growth of plants through appropriate care techniques.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for planting, pruning, weeding, and general garden maintenance.
* Implement irrigation systems to ensure optimal water supply for plants while monitoring moisture levels in the soil.
* Assist in landscape design projects, contributing ideas for plant selection and layout to enhance visual appeal.
* Monitor plant health, identifying pests or diseases and applying appropriate treatments as necessary.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of gardening equipment and work areas.
* Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals while adhering to timelines.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in gardening or horticulture is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices and techniques.
* Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools related to gardening tasks.
* Strong understanding of irrigation systems and their maintenance.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills.
