Responsibilities
Your focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be to support and work alongside the care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.
* Monitor residents\' wellbeing, identify changes impacting care and care plans, ensure new needs are met, and update written records accordingly.
* Be involved in the person-centered care planning process, by implementing, monitoring and undertaking monthly evaluations.
* Support residents with their medication requirements.
* Undertake staff supervisions and support staff development where required.
* Act as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives and visitors, and for health and social care professionals, ensuring reasonable requests are acted upon and concerns or complaints are escalated.

* Have 2 years experience working in a similar care environment.
* Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
* Have a positive attitude to supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
* Be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
