Join to apply for the Assessment Support Manager role at Oxford University Press

More and more people are choosing to learn English. When they do, they become part of an international community of English language learners. We are proud to be at that community's heart.

Our learning materials are trusted by millions of teachers, educational institutions, parents, and learners worldwide. They can teach and learn on their own terms, make progress, and achieve their goals.

Together, we move English language learning forward.

About the Role

The role is responsible for developing high-quality test content that aligns with best practice, project timelines, and the Division’s vision and values. This includes working with writers to ensure content is pedagogically effective, overseeing editing and copy-editing for accuracy and clarity, and briefing other departments to deliver appropriate solutions. The postholder supports research activities to ensure tests meet market needs and contributes to the continuous improvement of processes and workflows.

You will manage project schedules across teams, coordinate delivery to agreed dates, and provide input to marketing colleagues on messaging and promotional campaigns. Overall, the role combines content development, editorial oversight, cross-functional collaboration, and market-focused research to ensure English language assessments are competitive and effective.

Please note, this is a 6-month fixed term contract. We operate a hybrid working policy that requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the Oxford office. This advert may close earlier than the stated deadline, so we encourage interested applicants to apply as soon as possible.
