Duties
* Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
* Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
* Establish positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, fostering effective communication.
* Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, sharing updates with parents as necessary.
* Collaborate with team members to create a stimulating nursery environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and nursery procedures.
* Support the management team in leading the nursery staff, providing guidance and mentoring where needed.
Experience
* Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is not necessary.
* Must be willing to train to gain a qualification in Early Childhood Education.
* Strong communication skills in English are required to effectively engage with children, parents, and staff.
* A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travelling to nursery, unless you're within a walking distance.
