Job Title: Construction Operations Manager (SOM)
Reports to: Director of Operations (DSO) Division Manager
Type: Exempt
Job Purpose:
The Construction Operations Manager (SOM) will work closely with the Services Coordinator, MPT Superintendent, Foreman, and others to ensure that all services are delivered in a timely and professional manner while following company policies and expectations. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of construction, traffic control, services management principles, and a proven track record of successful delivery. To be successful, the candidate needs to be self-motivated, organized, possess leadership capabilities, and have excellent communication skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Manage and oversee construction operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
* Coordinate with various teams and stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
* Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise.
* Maintain documentation and reporting related to construction activities.
Education, Skills, and Work Experience Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, or a related field.
* Construction background required.
* Skills in leadership, communication, organization, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
* Knowledge of Pub 213, MUTCD: Part 6, and Pub 212: Title 67.
* Ability to maintain professionalism and a courteous demeanor as a company representative.
* Experience managing direct and indirect reports.
* Knowledge of OSHA and safety regulations.

Physical Requirements:
* Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds with assistance.
* Work beyond standard schedule when necessary.
* Availability for emergencies (evenings and weekends).
* Ability to sit for prolonged periods.
Office Requirements:

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to perform administrative tasks as required.
Work hours may be between 6am-4pm (hours may vary).
Pay: DOE
Schedule: Monday to Friday
