A leading Tier 1 international law firm is seeking a talented Corporate Associate (3+ years PQE) to join its highly regarded Corporate team in Central Manchester. The Role
You will work closely with senior lawyers and partners on high-value, often cross-border corporate matters. The team advises a broad range of clients including major PLCs, private equity houses, emerging growth companies, and financial institutions.
Your work will include:
* Advising on a wide range of corporate transactions including M&A, private equity, joint ventures, reorganisations, and equity investments
* Managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision
* Leading on certain workstreams within larger, complex deals
* Drafting and negotiating key documents such as SPAs, shareholder agreements, and investment documents
* Working directly with clients and supporting business development initiatives
* Supervising juniors where required and contributing to team development
About You
We're seeking a strong, proactive Corporate Associate who can bring both technical excellence and commercial awareness to the team.
You will have:
* 3+ years PQE within a reputable UK corporate team (Tier 1/2 firm experience advantageous)
* Strong transactional experience (M&A, PE, reorganisations, etc.)
* Excellent drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills
* Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* A commercial mindset and confidence dealing directly with clients
* A collaborative approach and desire to contribute to a market-leading team
