Role Summary Perform routine maintenance, diagnose/repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues, and respond to emergencies for all automatic door systems. Assist with new installations, commissioning, and liaise with contractors, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards. Ensure work adheres to safety regulations, conduct inspections, and maintain a safe working environment. Provide excellent service, communicate effectively, and report issues to relevant personnel within the university and FM company. Manage and maintain spare parts inventory and order necessary materials. Possess a strong understanding of automatic door systems and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues Assist the team with other duties as required The successful candidate will be an Auto Door Engineer who is proficient in various disciplines, capable of handling a range of maintenance and repairs on-site. Hours Monday - Friday. 3 weeks 07:00 - 15:30 & 1 week of 09:30 - 18:00 Overtime & weekend flexibility required. On-Call schedule available. Qualifications & Experience Proven experience as an Auto Door Engineer or similar role. Proficient in diagnosing issues. Excellent problem-solving skills.
