* The post holder will work in partnership with the Practice Education & Development team to provide support and guidance to staff across the Emergency surgical wards.
* They will provide practicaland pastoral support to staff, escalating any concerns to the Ward Managers and Practice Education Team as required.
* They will support staff in the development of competence and confidence in the delivery of high standards of care whilst being responsive to the needs of patients, relatives and carers as well as service demands. In addition, they will ensure that appropriate learning environments are created and maintained to drive the integration of theory with practice.
