We are recruiting, Senior Business Analyst – Data to play a key role in shaping the delivery of data solutions across OSB Group. Working alongside Product Owners, Engineers and other Analysts, you bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation, ensuring every data initiative delivers real value and aligns with the Group’s data vision.
What you will be doing
As Senior Business Analyst – Data, you lead the analysis and definition of data requirements across multiple products and initiatives, ensuring business needs are translated into clear, actionable user stories for our agile delivery teams. You collaborate with business stakeholders, engineers and product teams to design data solutions that are desirable, viable, feasible and sustainable, supporting OSB Group’s ambition to become a truly data‑centric organisation.
Responsibilities
* Act as the key intermediary between business stakeholders, Product Owners and development teams to ensure alignment with the data product roadmap and vision.
* Ensure a Definition of Ready (DoR) for all functional and technical user stories, refining and breaking down into clear, testable tasks with well‑defined acceptance criteria.
* Facilitate workshops to capture and analyse business and data requirements, documenting outcomes and potential solutions.
* Develop data models, data flows and other artefacts to visualise data relationships, processes and transformations.
* Conduct business impact assessments, feasibility studies and process mapping to identify the best solution options.
* Work collaboratively with Data Engineers and Architects to define data lineage, dictionaries and information quality requirements.

Do you have the skills
* A strong track record as a Senior Business Analyst or Product Owner within an agile environment, ideally focused on data‑centric projects or programmes in a Financial Services organisation.
* Proven experience working on data migration and transformation initiatives with a strong understanding of fintech operational systems, data repositories, data services, data management and cloud storage.
* Proficiency in data analysis techniques, including handling large datasets, interpreting insights and identifying trends.
* Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with experience defining and documenting as‑is and to‑be processes.
* Experience writing functional and technical user stories and defining acceptance criteria aligned with business goals.
