Responsibilities and duties of the HSEQ Manager role
Lead HSEQ activities across utility scale solar and BESS projects throughout England and Wales
Drive continuous improvement across health, safety, environmental and quality systems
Maintain and improve integrated management systems in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
Carry out site audits, inspections and compliance reviews across operational and construction sites
Support contract management, incident investigations and corrective action processes
Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and wider HSEQ legislation
Other duties as requiredProfessional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
Minimum 3 years' experience within a senior HSEQ position across a similar environment
Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation and CDM regulations
Experience managing ISO-accredited management systems
NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification preferred
Experience within solar PV, BESS or HV electrical environments would be advantageous
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites when requiredPersonal skills
