* Control Circuit Wiring testing & modification – prove each panel to the associated schematic diagram & fault find. Must be able to read schematic diagrams.
* Mechanical/Electrical function testing of 415v – 33kv switchboards & networks
* G59 G99 protection – Under/Over Voltage, Under/Over Frequency, ROCOF/dF/dT.
* Must be familiar with basic secondary Injection sets such as Sverker 760/780, T&R 100/200ADM, T&R DVS3.
* Knowledge of B.E.B.S. S12 (1964) wire identification standard as used in all UK HV switchgear.
* Knowledge of basic transformer protection devices & associated test methods.
* Operational knowledge of basic auto‑changeover schemes.
